My feline pal needs a real cattitude adjustment.

Feline Friday 

I found this cat quote that purrfectly fits this very stubborn man cat. Mister Kitty has been a real pain lately.  Any ideas? He eats the very best high quality food. He is the king of his castle. He has bullied his way into taking the top of the love seat away from the pups so he can park his large self in the very spot they had loved. He also has moved into a chair that is comfy and the pups enjoy resting there. Now he sleeps on the couch downstairs while he plots stealing food from tiny Daphne cat.  He will plop down in the middle of the night in doorways and hallways just begging me to step on him so he can go into his drama act! He is a holy terror and I am not use to this. I have had feline pets before and this one is baffling. I think maybe a trip to the vet and a shot in his butt might help. I just don't know.

1. I wish I could train people to do their own research and not stop believing every single thing they are told by someone else.

2. I am planning to get healthier by walking more for myself . I know several people who are living healthier and won't share how or why. They are paying for diet plans and truthfully if something is so great that the whole world needs it. I find it insensitive and wrong that you can not share the secret to your "plan".

3. I know it is time to get comfy at home more often when the majority of people are walking around like zombies following specific people  as if they are above God Almighty.

4. I felt brave when we were raising our kids in a changing world.

Hello Pink Saturday and Hello Kitty. Thinking of Jessica Marie Baker, who left this earth at the age of 42 years in June 2021. Jessica, I know how much you loved Hello Kitty so whenever I see her, I think of you. I believe you were taken for a specific purpose. God always takes the good ones. I hope you are shining down on this world and all those you loved so tenderly. I believe you are at peace and perhaps one day we will meet on the other side.

This gray cat is a pinterest find. My sister had a solid gray cat, his name was Dylan but his eyes were emerald green. He was a feral cat. My sister use to laugh everyday, because he never got of out the habit of rumaging through the trash can. He passed away from Feline Leukimia but his years with my sis were glroious times for him. How they loved each other. He loved being an indoor cat once he learned to chill with the other cats in her household.

 Feline Friday I think we have all had these "Garfield hits a brick wall" kinda day! But it will get better, it always does. A little rest and everything will feel better in the morning.

A Throw Back Photo for out son-in-law Zach's 30th birthday. Happy Birthday to the grill master at our house. We wish him many more and know he has enjoyed a few relaxing days, just hanging out with his wife and enjoying some time away from work. They had a delicious meal at Texas de Brazil. 

Back in 2014 when when the Seahawks beat the Broncos in the Super Bowl our crazy son Jeremy took his buddy Zach with him. Zach was a big hockey guy so Jeremy converted him to football. They had a great time as you can see. Lots of memories for this crazy kids who today are brother-in-laws.

These two will be married 4 years come December 2nd 2021. Rebekah put their wedding together in 56 days by herself from start to finish.  I can still here Avery say, God had His Hand on us that day. It was picture perfect.

Here's wishing Zach a wonderful birthday weekend. Also a happy birthday wish to his twin sister Alexa. Although she lives in Michigan, she is celebrating too. She has a double celebration because she is expecting their second child in a few months. She is the youngest of the twins Zach and Alexa    and she has a precious daughter Charlotte and a sweetheart of a hubby Jake. Happy Birthday Alexa

My boy Boots was so handsome, he was the kindest feline who ever lived. He was smart and always knew when I needed cuddles with him. I stillhave this magnetic frame on my fridge.  He is always and forever in my heart.

Humor for Feline Friday too. Whenever I feel sad, I have to find some humor. Those silly rabbits are all over my neighborhood. They multiple so quickly. I was watering my plants outside the other day and I noticed a rabbit sitting under the spray of my garden hose. He looked so happy getting a morning shower.This cat is clever, that is no doubt. The rabbits don't seem to mind that he's there.

I found this pinterest find too. To celebrate Father's Day 2021. I will probaly take my sweet husband to Outback for a nice meal. I bought him some new clothes and a sample of high end cologne. Like my own father, Avery loves good cologne.I know my own dad would love all those new scents.

My favorite photo of my dad. He was everything to me.

 

Baseball, no matter if it is T ball or Little League, MLB, I still love it. I just close my eyes and ears to the political noise the world throws at us today. I know this, no one today could have played with guys like my dad, even though he played semi pro. They could not touch the likes of Satchel Paige,  Joltin Joe DiMaggio, Richard the Goose Gossage, and the great Cal Ripken Jr who never missed a single game in his career and played his entire career with the Baltimore Orioles.  But my father will forever be my hero. He was a steel worker. He worked hard to provide for us. He would be saddened to see where our coutnry is headed today. I will never back down and say I am not proud of those who came before me. They  were the salt of the earth. Hard working and never taking handouts. I am and will be proud of my heritage as long as I live and breathe.

I do have photos here somewhere of dad's 1969 Chevy truck This one is a google image. My father was very proud of that truck and he cared for it and all our cars when he retired. I miss him all the time.

I have my fill in anwsers here:

1. If I could trade places with someone for a day, I would trade with no one. I like myself and other than loved ones gone before I am not into the whole celebrity thing. Otherwise I would love to have the strength, the fortitude and the faith and love my grandmother Cecilia had.

2. I would like to own a newer car some day.

3. I can't stand allergies this time of year and the heat. Oh the awful heat. Trees too, they make my allergies and sinuses miserable.

4. Phamily is my favorite thing about this time of year or anytime really. 

I am going to continue my Father's Day post here tomorrow and at my other blog too. I want to share my late father-in-law Carl and my son Jeremy and son-in-law Roger and grandsons Andrew and Colton and all the dad's everywhere.  Of course, my sweetheart Avery too.

The feline was being fierce, he had been staring down Mollie until she left and Lulu just kept looking away. He knows I do not put up with bullying in any way, shape or form! So he was unhappy he was not ruling the bed.

Hannah and I had a nice visit last week. She is so talented. She made her design for her business at etsy:

She created her label here. She made her first sale on a beautiful baby shadow box. She created it for someone who had a brand new baby and the shadow bx has the baby;'s name, date of birth, weight and height in beautiful vinyl letters . She brought so many of the Mother's Day shadow boxes with her last week to everyone local so they would not have to pay postage. It was a sweet gesture. She sure is a busy girl getting more and more orders.

This is one of her creations. I am so proud of her. She has artistic talent like her dad. 

Someone I love wrote this poem while she was in looking forward to college. The college education she is paying for to this very day!

She was born of working hands

They were born with silver spoons

She was from the wrong side of town

They were from the upper class

The families were part of the country club

The siblings had private piano lessons

Parents were past alumni

Dads still wore their football rings

Her family was the most important thing

Her siblings were her closest friends

And when her parents struggled with bills

Everyone pitched in to help

She memorized the RTD schedule

They learned how to drive new cars

For her, high school was a privilege

To her classmates, just another luxury

She wore bargain clothes from the Salvation Army

Her classmates wore Abercrombie and Fitch

She worked the weekends on minimum wage

While they hung out in Aspen and Steamboat resorts

She didn't care about popularity

Her classmates couldn't get enough of it

They worried about WHICH college to go with friends

While she worried about receiving financial aide next fall

It was exclusive and expensive

But it was the best kind of education

And although she didn't fit in

She knew she belonged in college

Why do we love children?

1) NUDITY

I was driving with my three young children one warm summer evening when a woman in the convertible ahead of us stood up and waved. She was stark naked! As I was reeling from the shock, I heard my 5-year-old shout from the back seat, 'Mom, that lady isn't wearing a seat belt!'

2) OPINIONS

On the first day of school, a first-grader handed his teacher a note from his mother. The note read, 'The opinions expressed by this child are not necessarily those of his parents.'

3) KETCHUP

A woman was trying hard to get the ketchup out of the jar. During her struggle the phone rang so she asked her 4-year-old daughter to answer the phone. 'Mommy can't come to the phone to talk to you right now. She's hitting the bottle.'

4) MORE NUDITY

A little boy got lost at the YMCA and found himself in the women's locker room. When he was spotted, the room burst into shrieks, with ladies grabbing towels and running for cover. The little boy watched in amazement and then asked, 'What's the matter, haven't you ever seen a little boy before?'

5) POLICE # 1

While taking a routine vandalism report at an elementary school, I was interrupted by a little girl about 6 years old. Looking up and down at my uniform, she asked, 'Are you a cop? Yes,' I answered and continued writing the report. My mother said if I ever needed help I should ask the police. Is that right?' 'Yes, that's right,' I told her. 'Well, then,' she said as she extended her foot toward me, 'would you please tie my shoe?'

6) POLICE # 2

It was the end of the day when I parked my police van in front of the station. As I gathered my equipment, my K-9 partner, Jake, was barking, and I saw a little boy staring in at me. 'Is that a dog you got back there?' he asked.

'It sure is,' I replied.

Puzzled, the boy looked at me and then towards the back of the

van. Finally he said, 'What'd he do?'

7) ELDERLY

While working for an organization that delivers lunches to elderly shut-ins, I used to take my 4-year-old daughter on my afternoon rounds. She was unfailingly intrigued by the various appliances of old age, particularly the canes, walkers and wheelchairs. One day I found her staring at a pair of false teeth soaking in a glass. As I braced myself for the inevitable barrage of questions, she merely turned and whispered, 'The tooth fairy will never believe this!'

DRESS-UP

A little girl was watching her parents dress for a party. When she saw her dad donning his tuxedo, she warned, 'Daddy, you shouldn't wear that suit.'

'And why not, darling?'

'You know that it always gives you a headache the next morning.'

9) DEATH

While walking along the sidewalk in front of his church, our minister heard the intoning of a prayer that nearly made his collar wilt. Apparently, his 5-year-old son and his playmates had found a dead robin. Feeling that proper burial should be performed, they had secured a small box and cotton batting, then dug a hole and made ready for the disposal of the deceased.

The minister's son was chosen to say the appropriate prayers and with sonorous dignity intoned his version of what he thought his father always said: 'Glory be unto the Faaather, and unto the Sonnn, and into the hole he goooes.' (I want this line used at my funeral!)

10) SCHOOL

A little girl had just finished her first week of school. 'I'm just wasting my time,' she said to her mother. 'I can't read, I can't write, and they won't let me talk!'

11) BIBLE

A little boy opened the big family Bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages.

'Mama, look what I found,' the boy called out.

'What have you got there, dear?'

With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, 'I think it's Adam' s underwear!'
